Low water exposes sediments in Betsie Bay
(Summer 2007)
We are continually seeking grant funding for water quality monitoring programs and the completion of a management plan for the Betsie Bay Watershed. We have also recently entered into a partnership with Friends of Betsie Bay, a local advocacy group concerned with the health, quality and aesthetics of the bay. The Benzie Conservation District helps the Crystal Lake and Watershed Association monitor Crystal Lake with monthly water tests and reports.
