Participants will learn how to identify and control the top 20 invasive plants in our area and how to get involved and become an “invasives scout” including GPS and data collection training.

Garlic Mustard Pull
At Elisabeth Parr Nature Preserve
(Located at the end of Ness Road, two miles north of Frankfort on the West side of M-22)
This is a hands-on experience to learn proper identification, removal and disposal of garlic mustard. Greens from this pull day will be delivered to Suz McLaughlin from “Still Grinning Kitchens” for the Friday lunch.

Come hungry! Benzie’s own Julia Child offers a culinary benefit after the Garlic Mustard harvest. Participants will dine on a variety of prepared garlic mustard recipes from the garlic mustard greens pulled at the Parr Preserve.
